Edor-if you thin DS&S is about tracking people on a map you are totally ignorant. USAA announced yesterday that they are now rolling out a telematics program-the last major insurer in the US to do so.Reason-they were losing customers to others that offered it. Good thing you are not in charge of anything that requires knowledge or thought.
Then while they’re at it, go ahead and can the person in charge of DSS. Debacle. There is a reason why competitors have 40% sign up and sf doesn’t have a quarter of that ..and who thinks tracking a person on a map is going to be popular when over half the pop doesn’t trust tech, govt, etc
The outages exposed we gave a not impressive individual - academically or experience- the keys to a multibillion budget and bought into the mirage that he was IT knowledgeable and would advance our org. We allowed him to run over any exec that tried to showcase his weakness and now we are paying the price with not many options... scary stuff.
