Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Management knows how to motivate...

people to leave this place as soon as possible.

Some of the most important responsibilities a manager has is to motivate employees to do their job as well as possible, to be as engaged as possible and in that way get the best out of employees - they have none of that. Admittedly, maybe in their arrogance they think that we are motivated to work forever at SF, that is until they cut us?

The cry babies are out.....see what they do? They name call and they want you to shut up. They want to have 100% power and control over you. Sickening! Rather than to hear the issues, and move to resolve. Instead of name call, use your education and address the issues discussed. Anarchists can't do that. They believe in a false narrative that cannot be supported. All comments should be welcomed without name calling. It's Merica still but with that, it's gone.

When a Infrastructure Scrum/“Analyst” can flirt round and scam others i to doing her work and take credit for it and act like the men and Foreigners best pal then get em dismissed or fired after she sleeps with em. It’s clear hiring decisions are not ethical. I’d hate to be her kids or husband.

She mirrors many many “leaders” at State Farm. They must promote that stuff. Pretty sick. Image is everything. But the truth is....they are all in each other’s pockets and nepotistic and flirtatious get ahead ways. Some not. Most are. Men and women

My TM is incredibly demoralizing. It’s either incompetence or very intentional. I can’t see it any other way because it’s too extreme to be anything else.

@5wyo, Wow! State Farm itself won the world war in 1942! Too bad that was left out of the history books.

@5wyo+1bv8ipFJ Very True! However the parents of today have been out to lunch for too long! The parents of today and the generation before that did not promote the work ethic but rather a good ol boy better than thou selfish conceded bunch of ignorant demeaning types leaving us where the company is at now. For example: Make life miserable for those I consider less than instead of making them the best. The workforce today reads right through that nonsense and will not tolerate it. The old saying what comes around goes around holds so true. If you think you're going to get that WWII work ethic today, you're out to lunch.

They won a world war, built a great company, and created the biggest economic bo-m in history. Living with severe rationing. There was no time for whining.

@3tzk Where's your proof that people didn't whine in 1942?

@3pte…forget about the universe centered on you. State Farm became the biggest way back in 1942; well before you were born and likely before your parents were born. They became big by doing insurance in an innovative way and doing it better than anybody. With agents and employees who did their jobs during peacetime and wartime.People who did their jobs rather than whining.
You’re entitled to your own opinion. But you don’t get to make up your own self centered, revisionist facts.

Let's get something straight. SF did not make it big by being a nice guy. They got it off the backs of those who believed they were nice. Never forget that!

SF is lavishly rolling in dark money. The RICO case and their attempt to buy off a judge is only a tid bit of their overall funneling of dark money. The FBI should be seriously auditing SF. Our premium dollars are not meant to engage in such internal nor external adverse behaviors. Drain the swamp.

If they would lie to their spouse, wouldn't you think they would steal or have any other ethical issues? The addict mentality. What would they do for their next fix? Maybe SF is made up of a bunch of Hunter Bidens? I call them pigs.

TC needs to export the ENTIRE ET/systems fiasco out to India and Ireland. Incompetents leading incompetents. No where to go but up.

Oh yeah. How did those ET Scrum Masters and Tech Managers get assigned. Kiss butts. Not smart about anything and never had to work to darn hard ever. That’s for sure

Bunch of fakes and unintelligent people that think they are goddesses and great project people. Not seen one thing good come out of that role But great at getting Indians and others to do their work. Sickening

Not sure you have much to teach the boomers. Except how to remain miserable, bi---y and whiny without doing anything to actually change your situation.

Most of the leaders (DLA, Mgr, Director,VP) and even many ET tech analysts live at the local country clubs and retired ones work for the same contract consulting cos now insurance is now. Lotsa married folks at farm with big titles $$. Nepotism

The same money and systems and everyone is in each other’s pockets and married to each other or friends. They don’t truly understand but think they are great project managers “leaders” and clout

Systems and procedural deceit is easy that way.
If you not in the circle your a peasant

It’s hard to watch. It’s not leadership
Or management or tech innovation. It’s fraud & a show

Don’t forget being the bottom tier constantly on industry average pay, while looking at the tenure piece and telling you to work for it while no longer offering a pension.

One thing I found out in life ishalf the boomers would drink out of a kool aid jar in south america
