I just got back from travel and saw that I had a box from Schwab sitting on my porch to return the laptop. Going to take care of that asap. But does this mean I will lose severance?

I wouldn’t worry about it. I didn’t even return everything they asked for and didn’t have a problem. I wanted to keep my camera and the charger for my phone as well as my new dell docking station. I sent them back my old docking station which was replaced due to issues. They are receiving so much equipment back they are probably overwhelmed.
@5vvp+1qdXgllX I offered to drive it to office too the day of my layoff but they rejected me. Guess company was afraid employees would pull some shenanigans in office that day.
They still have not sent me a box to return my equipment! I’ve emailed them 3 times now and even offered to drive it up to the office. They said they would mail it and have not… weird.
Just send it back now and document everything (photos of the packaging, the receipt, the condition of the machine including powered on).
There’s no connection between IO and HR. Previously riffed staff still have cell phones in drawers.
Don’t worry about it. I didn’t send mine back until a week after I got the box and I’m still getting the checks.
Yes and you will be sued for the laptop.
You’ll be fine. They’re probably so backed up with equipment being returned they haven’t even noticed.
