Appraisal Cycle Change

Moving appraisal Cycle based on their needs. It was April suddenly moved to July now again moved back to April.

Whoever thinks delaying hike by months will save company huge dollars similarly whoever thinks moving hike early will make people not to leave company.

No one believes management after layoffs , delayed hikes, no RSU.

Good to see some change in management after worse survey score.

But this is not enough

Did any asked to move back appraisal back to April?

I don't see this question asked by one employee in any meetings.

Fact is people are leaving and we got worse score in survey.

Management not accepting failure but instead trying to show they are doing lot for employees.

See inflation and increased cost burden on people.

People thinking to leave will definitely leave won't wait for 50 shares or bonus or espp early hike etc..,

People who take risk will stay till June to collect bonus, 50 shares and ESPP.However no guarantee that job market will be same.

So Samsung gives 75k vesting in 3 years for retaining employees and gf gives 50 shares in best case 3k. Other companies give about 10% RSU for retention.

@5nfh most of the commentary is on the motive. I don't think anyone disagrees with getting money sooner

Wow. Can’t please anybody. I for one thinks it’s a good thing that GF moved the raises back to April. They did what us employees asked for and now getting hammered for doing it. If you don’t like it leave.

@5rtz what's the problem? if you invest $5.5m via ESPP GF will give you 20k shares too. Ge-z, so many complainers here.

Good question to ask on next Town Hall or Equity-Equality-Diversity event:
50 shares to retain employees vs. 1Million shares to reward Top Dogs for running GloFo as a "best-in-business" foundry.

I think management realized employee not happy with hikes and hyped IPO without any benefit to employee.

They moved appraisal Cycle to stop people leaving and also offering 50 shares to retain employee.

I am not satisfied hope to see if anyone satisfied to stay longer
