I did a card reading and this lady told me end of summer or beginning of fall. As the leaves change color, the company I work for will merge with another company and apparently opportunities and growth for some people. I thought it was random she mentioned that when I never asked her about work here. Haha

As per my knowledge, Record keeping TIAA's one of the primary business other than Nuveen Fund. If TIAA outsource that business, then it simply doesn't makes sense. It can outsource its support operation....

@5dmw If ftes are not moving to Accenture, then what's the point of having Accenture as a Third Party Record Keeping company?

That is just a rumor and it is not correct there might be more layoffs for employees but I heard cognizant has lost the contract with tiaa and accenture got it so they are coming in for sure but nothing about ftes moving over to accenture. But they can always lay off more employees to save money why take all the trouble of moving people over when they can just layoff

Rumor I have heard from many sources is TIAA going to sell its record keeping systems to Accenture. As part of that sale, most of the technical people are going to become Accenture employees (presumably with worse benefits and expecially worse severance terms from that perspective). If you talk to ex employees of Accenture, you'll see they gobble up systems like this, extract information from the employees, and then lay them off after outsourcing to India. In our group, they're putting togethe a team of people who are going to remain TIAA employees after the purchase and help make sure it's successful. If you're not in that group, good luck. This is going to affect hundreds of people.

Everyone asks why doesn’t the board do something? It’s obvious they don’t care and have no incentive to make a change. All but one of the board of governors is pre-T. 6 of thr 13 board of trustees are pre-T.

The sooner y’all realize no one gives a fu-k about you, the better off you’ll be.

I wish there is a petition we can start to fire T and her buddies. How can the board be oblivious about so much dissatisfaction among employees.

There is an all associate meeting on Thursday where T and Ajit will speak. I’m guessing that’s when the announcement will take place ?

"Im wondering the whole point of shaking up TIAA was to ensure that it could be sold in a corpo yard sale?"

I’ve seen May pegged as “Org Transformation” for months on an internal calendar. Been trying to figure it out. My guesses are consolidation of groups and/or layoffs. It has seemingly been planned for a very long time.

Probably that TIAA is fully becoming Nuveen!?! Logo already changed, fund names are changing. Maybe T resigning and Nuveen head made ceo? Ok last one was a pipe dream.

No seriously, likely way more layoffs than the recent ones. Outsourcing on bigger scale and everyone will be asked to do more with less.
