More layoffs more lost customer's and upper management says nothing. Except here is your pink slip!! What is next? Can't be good. But then again it's irrelevant.

Oh come on, they're contractors. They knew what they signed up for .
@5cuk+1aHpq1iY - I guess a bitter and twisted little pr--k like you is glad when people are suffering. I dare say there are a few (US, UK, India or CR) that could do better but those are all over the world.
It is astounding to me that a few of the good ole boys are still there. These people did nothing, but help bleed money for pet projects that never went anywhere and got zero return.
Oof, what rock do you work under? That bunch couldn't do less with more if their lives depended on it. Adios!
The only decent thing to come out of this place in the last 10-15 years is ECS and they (Andy Stern and his muppets) ki---d that one off so they could do Openstack then Cloudstack then shitstack
@3vxo+1aHpq1iY you are spot on. Every cloud product is an absolute disaster. Millions spent on development of these joke products and support structure to try to bill the non-existent customers.
They have open positions that they’re hiring for ... how stupid would one need to be to join this company
But the wheels didn't just fall off the bus. It seems more like the wheels were ripped off the bus by poor management decisions and an outright refusal to get out in front of the obvious changes over the past decade or so.
To compound the problem, in spite of all of the hundreds of layoffs they've made, they seem bound and determined to keep those special few who are most responsible for the current state of things.
The wheels came off years ago. It's just slowly being dragged down by upper management for a long time. A series of poor product decisions has not helped. How many millions of dollars have been sunk into the various cloud offerings??
The wheels are coming off
CR staff were never employees of sgas. They were contracted under a CR company and on assignment for sgas. Maybe they opted to reduce the contract value we spend or remove it completely - but it’s not an employee layoff if it happened.
They’re offshoring to saudi arabia .. much cheaper .. 43 cents/ hr
Wasn’t CR a sub-contract to a 3rd party? More of a services contract termination than a layoff?
@1ris+1aHpq1iY - Surely not the whole of CR? There are some good people over there too.
Super nice bunch of folks on that team.
On the other hand, there might be a chance here to knock a couple days to a couple weeks off a lot of requests.
I'm not sayin... I'm just sayin.
Entire Costa Rica team got let go today. They were great people to work with.
Idk how this company is still in business. I was there back in 2011 and the place was falling apart.
It’s been the same forever ... once a POS company always a POS company
