Just finished performance review and got strong. Curious with how much of a raise and how it work

@blpi+1qTAyIC0, I recently spoke with everyone in the industry about her. There were mixed opinions. Maybe you misunderstood.
All everyone should know is that d-mba** and fata** VH and exec managerment got
raises. VH is an ongoing joke of a CEO, every one in industry knows that.
Any news on when Bonuses will be out?
Can you tell me two significant oil and gas milestones Oxy had last year (besides buying another company's production base in the Permian)... Any thing of note in the GOM?..What about the discoveries in Oman? Nothing ever mentioned in the quarterly reviews...Stock price is down again...What has Oxy done that makes you deserve large raises this cycle? Anadarko slipped into this mode at the end and we know how that story ended...
@4yrt, I’ve been in the business longer than you for sure. Never had an increase less than 3% and most were more than that. You may want to take a closer look at your performance if you are regularly getting 2% or less.

Raises need to be competitive?? You haven't been working in the business very long. With Oxy's lack of success, accumulating debt and the urgent need to acquire production, inflation raises aren't all that bad. I had years of solid personal performance but still got 0-2% raises... You don't remember 2014-2019 very well. Company attitude is if you can get better elsewhere, go for it.
When do bonuses pay out?
Raises aren’t supposed to keep up with inflation. They are supposed to be competitive in the market.

Always more interested in the bonus and LTI numbers... On a non promotion year, my raises usually kept up with inflation (plus or minus).
The last poster is right in my experience. 3-4% is normal. It does depend on a combination of your performance and where you are in your salary grade range.
In my experience, the 4-5% mentioned below seems a little high. But it depends on a combination of your rating and where you are in the salary range for your grade.
When is it a given that every year is a big raise year?? Oxy stock performance has been lousy and acquisitions have been the only way to organically grow the company. Consolidation is coming and be pleased in knowing that a good performance this year may keep a desk for you going forward...
Given the fact the stock is trading less than this time last year and inflation is ~3%, could expect 0-3% for the general population... Maybe a tick higher for promotions.
From what I have seen a raise without a promotion is around 4-5%. I feel a strong rating is really good, but the 1 and 2 ratings seem to be for people getting promotions and usually a higher salary increase, more bonus, and lti if one gets lti.
