@ayrg+1fqxE7xc I think it is both Pepsi & Frito. I know for me (Frito) all of my work is going to the managers in the coming weeks with me still being the middle man to get the info to GBS/MBS.

Frito has zone managers. Is this about frito admins or Pepsi admins?
When you say all admin roles do you mean zone admins? Or all titles with admin assistant?
@6gmf+1fqxE7x I can’t believe you haven’t seen some of this in your building already. On boarding is in Schoox, they have to check off that they watched the videos. Reporting is being streamlined and available in tableau for the manager to self serve. They can push
Out all reports thru email if need be and for specialized like hr reports, request them from GBS. Food service coordinators turned into a spa box. Most managers in most locations do payroll now. If it’s an error call payroll service center. The rest will learn. All that is left is a cashier.
@6gmf+1fqxE7xc the managers will be starting to do payroll transactions in about 6 weeks. payroll reports will be online and ZBMs are going to handle all of that. If they get rid of all admins (which I think is the end goal) the managers will submit all payroll to GBS/MBS. I am doing that now there is no reason a manager can't do that. They tell me who to pay so they can just cut out the middle man of the HRZA and have the manager enter the hours/time
@6uxw+1fqxE7xc. Question is how would they backfill for the one admin in each building for vacations, illnesses or long term outages? And would the one admin do everything i.e new hire onboarding, payroll damage control, cashiering, reporting and other miscellaneous tasks? That's a lot to divvy out to manager (if they are even capable or have time to doing any of those tasks).
GBS. MBS. Consolidations of facilities. It's coming. Already seeing in some areas.
@4whj+1fqxE7xc I could see that happening, having only 1 admin per building, but I could also see having no admins as we currently have someone on LOA and all of the managers are picking up her duties without issue. My hope is that they announce payroll by P 6 so I can plan my exit and find a new job once I am let go
@4whj+1fqxE7xc From what I've read, there will only be one admin left per building. Two admins if it's a satellite & production site.
@4whj+1fqxE7xc do you know the time frame of the admin jobs getting moved? I know the jobs are going but I didn’t know when. I was hoping for June 2022.
I know for a fact that they plan to move all Admin level roles to GBS.
1ond+1fqxE7xc yes training them on payroll since Aug 2020. Getting their site ready so they understand how payroll works. in the next few weeks, managers will be entering payroll transactions. I have been told I will still be the person to send it to GBS for the moment. I assume once the managers know what they are doing then they will let me go. Anytime HR is asked about these changes and if we will lose our jobs, the response is "there is nothing on my radar about you losing your job"
@rol+1fqxE7xc so well put. @fzo+1fqxE7xc training since 8/2020? We were lucky to get any training at all….it was figure it out training. The are treating these GBS employees well. Also, if you look at their benefits and PTO, its wayyyy more than we get. Admin Jobs are going……invoices/billing has already begun. That job will be eliminated from the admins. Most of finance already went there. Customer maintenance will be centralized….already happened in some locations. Payroll will start to transition. Cashier is all you will h@ve
I have hear that many of our talent acquisition roles will be moved to the Mexico offices moving forward.
hopefully soon. I have been training GBS since August 2020. In the next 8 weeks or so I know of some major changes to my job is going to managers. That says to me that something has to be happening soon after they take more away from me.
If you perform a job which can be transferred to the GBS offices in MX or India - assume you’ll be cut in the very near future. If you are a production worker or driver - fair chance of near term security.
If you’re a woke recent college grad who fits the virtue signaling model you will have a job probably long enough for them to use you then kick you to the curb like a deceased rat.
