Are you seriously comparing Illumina to WeWork ? Illumina has tech, patents, supply chain and 80+% market share.

Grail mess is purely self inflicted due to poor management decisions. Think about it ... pi----g away $8B + 60% market cap. Rank and file get penalized for missing deadlines. Upper management get rewarded no matter what. Until upper management is cleaned up and Grail jettisoned the downward trend in market sentiment as well as employee sentiment is going to continue.

Please stop trying to talk to employees like taking to children. Everybody knows the emperor has no clothes.

@4fss+1pl7KQvd, Consultants don't receive RSUs, bonuses, or ESPP, so this reward is significant. Your base salary may be the same as a consultant's, but you have better long-term prospects here.

Things can go wrong in business, as seen with WeWork's recent downfall.

@4vai+1pl7KQvd I think you indented to write "Significant part of MY compensation is rsus+bonus+espp". You work hard so that I can reap the benefits.

Rank and file do NOT have "significant" part of compensation in the form of rsus+bonus+espp.

Significant part of your compensation could be rsus+bomus+espp.
It's normal to feel worried and frustrated when these have gone down Specially after layoffs.

However, this is the right time to work for Illumina and support. Take some time off to re-energies yourself. Illumina supports unlimited vacation to its fulltime employees. Don't stress out and worry.

There is a +ve news today -
Illumina Inc. stock rises Thursday, outperforms market.

Subtext .... Management screwed up and left you holding the bag. Don't get upset because some managers may actually tell you the truth and point fingers at upper management.

Please keep doing your work while management rewards itself for trying to fix the problem they created in the first place.

This is clearly a post from HR. If you are a competent employee RUN .... and do it fast. Grail is going to sink the ship.
