Yea I have noticed this too. On other sites GF over rating has increased in past month or so and the most recent ratings are glowing and very contrary to what I have witnessed in person and overall consensus I have been exposed too. In many cases they outright rave about things I know are untrue!
And on here as well. There has been a few posts in the last month that outright defend GF and say how great it is. Then why are you guys on this particular website?? Haha read the room! Hahaha
But they just look foolish and are easy to spot
HR must have initiated an online campaign to boost the company image, including this site and Glassdoor. Even look at the Google ratings. The amount of positive posts, recently, suggest HR is up to something.
There are snakes among us.
@2zcl I agree with you. I had a few people in my department that used to complain all the time and don't deliver any work, or when they deliver the work they have done exhibited a lot of issues. It really put a pressure on productive people to do the work of the lazy complaining people. Those complainers were like a bad smell lingering in the workplace. I am glad they are gone and got replaced by ambitious and pleasant folks.

You do realize this message board is for disgruntled employees, etc.
And if you are so content; then why are you even visiting or reading through these posts?
Perhaps you are right and it is everyone’s own personal fault for the own lack of career growth, promotions and such. I think an argument could be made that it is everyone’s own responsibility to take control of their career. If you don’t like it then leave. I can understand that argument.
But you have to concede that things at Globalfoundries are not as advertised.
And finally again, it is very weird that you would visit this message board if you yourself are content. Why even Google it and look for this? If you are truly as content as you allude too this a very odd strange behavior. And to actually go through the motions and make an actual post on the board too? You might be a little off my friend.
So at the very least and in a friendly gesture to normalize you; you must be harboring some of the sentiments outlined on this message board. At least to a small degree. If not - you have a really odd or off character personality flaw. Maybe you enjoy hearing and watching people complaining and suffering? Again I won’t say what the exact terminology is for this, but if that is true you possess a very scary personality. I think you should seek out some professional help before this manifests into something far worse.

I suspect you will be as miserable with your new job as you are/were here at GlobalFoundries. At the end of the day it’s your failure at GlobalFoundries to qualify/justify. Rest assured, we will continue without you. I do wish you luck, though. Hopefully you’ll find relevancy in the new Job. ✌️

And…. global will still go on making wafers… we just a had a few leave… and… we are still here making wafers.. Attrition has been bad since I started 8 years ago.. and… global is till making wafers
