US Raise Thread

OD, O, E, VG, G. Upstream, product solutions, or finance. CL bump or no. Should make it very easy to create a table for all employees in the US.

EMTEC, CL25, VG, 4%, age 30. Was told by my supervisor that salary reference information was not available. Where are your supervisors getting this information. Is it available in career connect and I was lied to?

Early 30s, E, Finance, CL 25, 7%. Was promoted last year, so I assume I still had room in the salary band for a raise. I asked my manager specifically about this and they mentioned they couldn’t talk much about it, but I still have room to go up in future years at my current CL.

So if I understand the talking points, This puts all but the Gen Z’s at 100% salary reference faster but will mean we get 0% more than the 3-5 year salary adjustments. I don’t care as long as it equals 2-3% a year across the long term. Time will tell. Just wish they’d do actual bonuses instead of RSU’s for the highest ranks. Some of us lifers at a CL get fuqed in rank at the sit w so the rest of yall can get Starbucks at Spring. We used to not care because it wasn’t public knowledge which groups got RSUs and site managers could do salary treatment to help us lifers out while still giving the MD’s the rank to move. Now’s it’s fuq’ing everyone.

CL 27, late 40s, E, just under 2% …. at 100% SR so upper limit for 27 is just over 255K.

I heard they adjusted down the SRs. Some got a CL bump last year and then this year they are already at 100% SR.

Mid 30s, CL 25, E, Controllers and 0%.

It sounds like most of Controllers/Finance was in the 0 bucket. What incentive is there to perform at a great level when no reward for your hard work?

@3ipv+1pTJwdGV

To this du----s speaking about being 30s and CL 24. There are multiple layers of careers at XOM. Mechanical FLS, operations FLS in PS are all CL 24 and will be for a long time. There not many moves to 25 and if there are it’s late Career.

It’s actually a very strong thing to be a CL 24 and have moved on from Wage In your 30s.

For those complaining about the XTO vs XOM payscale...it is identical. A foreman will not earn the same as an engineer of similar tenure, full stop. There is something called a four year degree that is required to gain employment for the engineer.

I like how all these “a job is more than a paycheck” types are on this thread whining about how small their raise was.

I guess the whole having a job thing is transactional after all……

I know most foreman jobs at XTO start around $130-$140,000 a year and most of the XoM people are posting they make well over $200K a year. Definitely not the same pay scale.

Cpi: 4.5%
Real inflation rate: who knows, but higher.

That said, I did nothing much and earned E, so let's go again.

Biggest losers in all this are those that sacrificed personal and family time for a few more crumbs. Still worth it?

After seeing all of the comments I wish XTO would use the XOM pay scale. It only seems fair since we are making quite a bit of the profit for the organization.
