Another job or you're out on the streets. Rumor is that Raytheon will be selling RMD.
Raytheon seems to be in deeeeep shiiit. Probably from all the lawsuits... lol

To those who think PMX was just “the fat”, you must not work very closely with the PMs. PMX was the group that allowed the PMs focus on the program critical issues. Programs don’t run themselves. Also, people need to get experience in order to be qualified to become PMs. For the record, It’s not that they got rid of PMX, it’s HOW they did it.
C'mon @atxl+1itAZPRy. It really wasn't THAT much better before the merger. At least you could say that if you worked under T. Lawrence's "inspiring" leadership.
Fresh off the press. I just found out 2 additional locations where we are getting axed. Drum Roll...location are "everywhere" and "nowhere"...you're welcome!!!
I believe those 2 bozos were very clear on the location. They said the locations are "there" and "here". According to them, there is no need for further clarification. LOL
Where?
And people are getting the ax here too.
People getting the ax there today
Things were cool before the merger. Things were cool before dear leaders blew up the global economy and RTX supply chains BeCauSE CoVId. Things were cool before air conditioner/elevator CEO jumped aboard the Unconstitutional "safe and effective" (later downgraded in company video statements to "effective") vaccine coercion train and tried to commandeer the personal decisions of his employees. I hope RMD does get sold. It was so much better before the merger. Total disaster. It starts at the top and it's all Legacy UTC.
@4lvr+1itAZPRy
You left out the women and gender studies majors. If there is a problem in an engineering company would you draw on their expertise for help?
I like Land Warfare and Air Defense under Laliberty. Every other function of RMD is being run by id--ts, with zero competence.
I think the engineers will be fine, but the ones who have backgrounds in basket weaving, sports management and fashion merchandising are gonna be out of a job soon.
I've met PMX employees with these academic backgrounds.
As someone who recently left, I can say that RMD is indeed in deep sh-t. And it is all thanks to the worst series of Management I have ever seen in my life. I’ve never seen so many bosses and managers who were so bad at their job and their bosses and thei bosses bosses were just as incapable as them. I hope it does get sold. Nothing that inefficient deserves to continue
They're just trimming the fat. Management types like that don't count. Its the engineers that really get stuff done. Everything else is just clean up.
Sounds like the beginning of the end for Raytheon...
@sqd+1iAZPRY...PMX people are not PMs, they are planners, deputy prog managers, prog integrators and such. An actual PM is assigned to a program, or product line, whereas people from the PMX org are matrixed in to help and they charge program labor. They do a lot of the gut wrenching work that PMs don't want to do. Al lot of them are overpaid secretaries doing admin work. PMX also does compliance, they make sure that everyone follows the RTX program management processes.
How in the he-l can RMD function without PMs? Seems like they know they are failing and just cutting...
Raytheon doesn't care about anyone, glad I put in my notice and left a few weeks ago. I left PMX in April 2022, a lot of paper pushers with marketing and political science degrees. Inflated egos too
