Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Enough is enough

My team has been halved in the past two years. Now when I hear there will be more layoffs I pray I'm one of them if our team is affected, because I'd rather be laid off than have to deal with even more work. My workload has increased with every person who was removed and I'm at my limit. We were spared this time but I don't know if we'll be as lucky the next time. I am at the point where I hate my job.

You’re asking when? Trust no one in a leadership position at Avaya. Silly.

ML Waco can field my (old) customers concerns then! I’ve fielded several calls since being let go, but no more.
Not even a seeyalaterbye! text from my former manager because he feels so guilty about his stack rank. Speaks loudly for this company. Much better people than I were let go, I’m just vocalizing. My right.

@4kyq+1tHlUuvt You mean after this layoff, there will be another layoff? When?

Another round of layoffs is coming this quarter. According to ML, 80% of business comes from G1500 customers, so Avaya can manage with just over 2,000 employees. SY team will face large consolidation this time.

I retired four years ago, I just didn't tell anybody.
Happy to sit quietly been the grey man.
Maybe someone will notice me soon :-)

Post your team name. Put some skin in the game. Maybe you will get your wish.
