The Accenture group I am working with is very under staffed for most of these tasks. They have an overall large staffing but, doing things globally and on 3 shifts. I suspect burnout will be fast and they will start to leave. Very nice people and they are being worked to the bone. I guess that's how you save money and crash a company.

Can't wait to see how all these strategic initiatives work out. I'm still here, doing all I can to confuse the Accenture folks as much as possible. It's pretty easy, just explain the status quo.

Last post mentioned them happening today. While this may be true, layoffs are usually spread out over multiple days. More likely in the coming days.

The layoffs happened today! I am not an AIG direct FTE but rather with a consulting company, not saying which one. My team has been directly impacted because we lost a key AIG team member. The way in which it was handled was very cold and cruel. This person just came back from vacation and then got blindsided by this layoff. OMG! This sucks! Reminds me to never work directly for AIG!

lol to the prior post. IT being let go this week. Nice job PZ. What a train wreck you have caused in the name of a multi million dollar bonus. Now you can deal with mohammed or "Joe" if you prefer his american name.

if you really like working at AIG, Accenture has many jobs posted. Folks leaving AIG can apply for Accenture jobs, y'all may even be hired! You can get paid less and do the same work for the same great organization.

Prior post is accurate. Execs are are actively in talks with Accenture about taking over various aspects in GI. Watch this space, announcements are coming.

I am hearing that GI is going to be hit and some of its supporting services as they aren't writing the business in many states. In addition claims are down and much is going to TPA's

@4hlq+1bKQnJlA - No. Accenture is bringing their own staff in. No opportunities for AIG folks.

Claims will be hit hard. Not layoffs, but Accenture type arrangement.

After the 23rd of July, a bunch of IT will be gone. They were told 4 months ago. It's going to be a Sh#t show after they leave.

Yes all NYC employees are being launched into space where they will work remotely full time on the moon. It’s cheaper there.
