I like #6. “Don’t be a d1-k”..

That’s excellent advice.

Here’s what Doug is telling you:

  1. Stay in school. Get a college degree or learn a technical trade that will support you and your family.
  2. Learn to act like a responsible adult. Stay out of jail. Don’t socialize with low life people.
  3. Be proactive with your future. Think about your actions and how they potentially affect your future.
  4. Live a reasonably healthy life. Obesity leads to numerous different issues, including cancers and diabetes.
  5. Respect others. Treat others with kindness.
  6. Don’t be a di-k.

That about sums it up.

Just an example of the depravity and decay in walmart corp. culture. Pronoun is him not her. You cant help it because its acceptable in a trans binary corp culture. The expression "I got your back" no doubt has its own special depraved meaning to you. You will own nothing and be happy. If you didnt have a tattoo on your back end you could use that brave new world phrase. At this point you just dont know any better.

All store closings and layoffs begin at the corp. level.

To the previous comment. A genius response, a deeply thought out constructive reply. Your imagination for the diversity of your relies is out standing. You should leave this site for one as dynamic and perceptive as yourself. Don't be frightened to do so. I can only conclude that there will be more activity here instead of you holding it back . Walmart grunt.

“It just goes to show you how ignorant some people are.” This is not an intelligent response. Try to be more constructive. I should not have to correct you.

"Believe me" your the last to have credibility. All store closings and layoffs begin at the corporate level. Don't take your eyes off the ball it's in motion and the hourly don't have the cash reserve like Doug.

Oh gosh! What a surprise. I’m underwhelmed.

Probably, if you had paid attention, you might know there’s SEC regulations requiring company officers to report stock transactions. Like all company’s execs, Doug gets/buys/sells stock. This is nothing but a transaction he had to report. He also acquires stock through his compensation package, like other execs from all companies. Yup, just like Target, Kroger, Delta airlines and General Motors, etc etc.

For any company, go to their stock ticker on Yahoo Finance. From there, you can see their insider transaction lists. Don’t be shocked at what you see. But, remember, a ton of execs arrange their compensation package with “X” percent of total compensation as stock, not $$ deposited in a bank account.

So this is nothing. It’s just a regulatory filing.

End of walmarts fiscal year is January 31, 2023. Layoffs , store closings coming up that fast? The hourly don't know to sell. The hourly will keep the stock price up and lose out when it goes down. Real leadership in action. Thank-you for all you do Doug.
