Im in a tech department that you would think would have a slightly younger work force.
not the case, everyone I work with is 50+. and we are only replacing these older employees with a handful of interns who are converted to full time every year. I wonder how many interns receive offers and decline them because they dont want to waste their 20s living in Bloomington.
Seems like SF is going to run into mass retirement issues in the next 10 years, but who knows maybe we will all be outsourced by then, or SF will finally move HQ to a more desirable place to live in order to attract new talent.
