It really su-ks to arrive at Cole building at 7:30, and find all seats with monitors are taken. No sure what upper managements are thinking.🧐

Your resentment and bitterness is unattractive.
GM White collar employees are not farmers milking cows. That equity checking early in, and get out of their way departure does not cut it. I experienced this first hand. Suggestion. Pull an all nighter and show up at 6:00am. Keep track of the early arriving office hands. Watch them. They will talk, bs for 20 minutes, have two coffees, and then go to the restroom for 25 minutes. Time for more coffee and bs. That is why there is no parking available to you, and no desks. And then they have the nerve to say you are wrong. That id--tic mentality of showing up at that time is why some vehicles have been build like junk, and recalled many times. No love lost for you Warren equity checkers. Who do you have to watch at home?

Are the people getting let go in their reviews because they weren’t showing up T-TH?
MB did say attendance would be a “behavior” score in our reviews.
Well it may be that supervisors don’t care about your location if work is getting done but I suspect HR does care. With the mandatory in office days my bet is HR will now be tracking card swipes. If you aren’t swiping HR will likely contact your supervisor. Were it me I’d make sure to have documentation for days I was off site and not swiped in. Tech companies that are a few steps ahead of GM in this area started using on site attendance for performance reviews and excuses for dismissal so be careful.
The Cole Engineering is having plumbing issues again this evening. Seems the pipes are backing up again. The bathrooms smelt like the Black Death….
Assume “goodness” smells when coming in tomorrow morning…..
Get there early and take the huddle rooms before the managers get there.
First come first served.
Let them take a seat out with the mob.
Huddle rooms seem to be taken over by managers.
It's not very collaborative...
If you’re doing your job effectively, your supervisor doesn’t care where you’re sitting.
The supervisors probably know the locations of bathrooms that don’t smell like sewers as well.
They can also help Toodles find his marbles, as well as cure incurable diseases and raise the dead….
So the supervisors have secret areas with seating that we don't know about?
How can you find seats that we can't find?
Bring a fold out table and chair, shows creativity and innovation top of mind… big promotion in your future??
Comforting to know the “Supervisors” are monitoring these Forums:
“ If you talk with your supervisor, they WILL find you a seat. Please talk to us and use the reporting tool to let management know which area was full and what spillover area you ended up using.”
Only loser management teams do such things👎👎
If you talk with your supervisor, they WILL find you a seat.
Please talk to us and use the reporting tool to let management know which area was full and what spillover area you ended up using. There are plenty of seats.
@vmv+1qQmZAwc, if there are not enough seats, everyone wakes up earlier as you suggested, sooner or later, we will need to go to office at middle night to get a seat.
You should wake up earlier.
