No, private companies can make their own P&P as they see fit. They are not held to state mandates in this matter.

To @3ztd+1a2xT8g4

Assuming you are the original poster and also the one that had your post removed. I read that post and it contained blaringly inaccurate and outright reckless information. From statements contained in that post it was abundantly clear that you have no understanding of how vaccines work or what vaccine efficacy means. I could attempt to explain medically why what you posted was both false and reckless but clearly your mind is closed off to anyone or anything that doesn't support your personal views. Perhaps instead of wasting everyone's time you could simply log onto Connections and share your masking views directly with Lowe's corporate. Or better yet, why don't you just email Marvin directly? However, you might want to clean out your locker first. Feel free to repetitively down vote this post to your heart's content just as you have with all the others that disagree with you.

The moderator of this site clearly has an opinion on this. Just say that if you are vaccinated you don’t need a mask and you will be censored.

Just live with it for a couple more months, it's not hard to put a mask on. If you can't breath through it you should not be working at Lowe's. It amazes me how selfish people are, you could prevent one person from dying but there to worried about yourself.

Lowe's has been following past and present CDC guidelines related to COVID-19 as well as OSHA standards. Just because a state or individual county has lesser standards does not release them from these other higher federal standards.

Texas released the mask mandate, and business's still require a mask (already stated) it's a private company. The spelling of your post is also incorrect. The correct spelling is nonsense. People have lost their life to this virus (don't play the political or numbers game) and you should be respectful of that.

As someone who lost a family member to COVID I can tell you that the risk still remains very real. Over a half a million others will tell you the same thing. Companies still have a right to set their own safety policies as terms of employment. If that wasn't the case, I would be allowed to run an order picker through the store anytime I want without spotters or even strapping in. Instead it's a class A violation. If you feel that strongly about it then feel free to resign anytime you want. Problem solved.

Class action lawsuit is being worked on in several states, if the state doesn't have a policy requiring masks than the business is making medical policy it's liable for. I don't know the legal stuff, just heard a few co-workers talking about it.
