I refuse to take the shot and I refuse to return to my midtown office. So I remain working from home. No one has done anything to me yet.

Correct. Markets, such as they are, have been propped up by the Fed for over two years now.
If and when it corrects, it's going to be brutal and MS will hammer the headcount hard. Aside from layoffs, many vacancies just go unfilled when someone leaves, so you get the same effect. Working the rest of us to death.

Layoffs have already been happening, albeit silently, in New York and Montréal and Baltimore in the America region. I imagine some of the etrade offices are the same.
