Our store has recently had the title of G-15 bestowed upon it, but no one has explained its significance. So far, the only thing we’ve seen happening is chandeliers being hung in the Home department.
Does G-15 have anything to do with becoming a lighting showroom?

G15 is a p43 store that is the top volume in the company, G15 is the top stores in that group that has lost the largest volume in the P43 group. They are concentrating in this group to gain back the volume lost and to push better brands and new concepts to freshen stores. They send out the clearance to freshen the store and make more room for new products. This is really a test on how they can really freshen stores with new vendors and test for roll out to more doors. The outlet store concept is working very well and is actually going to double the volume in these stores from a 3 million volume to something more profitable. Hope this helps to understand.
Which store again is this
Thank you, @3ehp+1mzaZZhq, for your kind, and respectful reply. A more knowledgeable answer than I was able to obtain at store level.
It stands for Grand and top 15. There are also P43 stores which are top 43stores. All due to volume produced. Hope this helps
Thank you @3udo+1mzaZZhq for your kind and respectful answer.
Though still wanting to know exactly what the “G” and the “15” actually stand for.
A G15 store is based on the volume of the store. It has a higher volume, therefore it gets special incentives, like more hours given in budget, higher end products and it is required to produce more.
In all seriousness, can someone give a straight answer?
A G15 means the store manager is morbidly obese
Our store is a G16, hopefully we can make G17
Just below the G14 but not yet rated for the G20 level.
