Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

What happened to D Scott after the court case

So he was found innocent but did EM terminate his contract or did we pay him off?

He’s got a new job as President of EPC Services. Never actually heard of them but sounds like a nice new gig.

Morality clause for Executives ?

Who told you that - is that a new thing? I know of lot of Execs ( I am from Product Solutions), I tell you - there is no such thing. We took clients for nice places

So is the wife sticking with him or is the divorce his next court appearance?

He has no lawsuit. Executives have a morality clause which he clearly broke. He probably lost all of his RSUs and such. At least he should have. He made a laughingstock of the company and damaged reputation.

@3rps. Damn right it's true. Many stories about the LCMs in affiliates enjoying the expat spousal talent while employees are mired in work. Bwahhashhaaa. It's true

It’s a sad day when we support someone like D Scott over XOM; shows how much of a toxic environment has been created,

Hope he sues EM. I would guess he probably has some good dirt on the sc-m at the top

Surprised he hasn’t sued EM given he was innocent. Agree on the PDS comment, he has left for a better place unfortunately.

He was NOT proven innocent. His charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. This is unrelated to guilt or innocence. But everyone’s right - he’s probably doing just fine regardless.

EM canned him, too much negative publicity even though he was proven innocent - such is the life of executives, don’t feel too sorry for him and his millions though

Dude is probably doing better than any of the normies will over do. Most likely will get everything that he would have gotten if he hadn't been caught but 15 years earlier in life.

Probably will come out ahead and won't have to do a pds every year.
