I've read a number of CVX posts that are insensitive and offensive. I hope these 'contributors' are not my colleagues, whether I'm at Chevron or some place else. If you have any potentially useful information, share it. If you move on to something new, share that too. Others will thank you and congratulate you. Ignore the a**holes, they don't deserve our time.

If you are a loser who would not otherwise get a job if it wasn't for affirmative action type practices, then I can see why that would bother you, @3rwu.
It all comes down to people not f*cking listening. No one is actively trying to select diverse candidates. They are trying to make sure short lists have a least a little diversity (That often gets filtered out by job owners who are still not required to take any unconscious bias training) to at least get those people considered. If that threatens you then you probably s— anyway.
@uku, you think the voices here aren’t representative of the colleagues you work with? Don’t make me laugh and wake up. Most of the negative voices on this site ARE the ones you work with. #RudeAwakening
Hey there was a really good post followed by someone agreeing with that point of view and well it seems to have been deleted from the thread. I wonder why it..... oh yeah, I forgot, Censorship is the new normal.

OP is correct. And doesn’t matter what organization they work in. This echo chamber of (mostly) scared and angry voices is NOT representative of the people I am fortunate to work with...
