Thread regarding Western Digital Corp. layoffs

Goeckler's Employment Letter

From the SEC website. Besides the plush sign on bonuses and LTI, the change of control terms are pretty typical (and generous) too.

LS was let go and was replaced by one of DG's Cisco colleagues. At least she was given a reasonable severance package of more than $5M.

disparity in the large % over the average employee is our large factory workforce, but it is startling that total compensation exceeds that of CEOs running $100B+ companies

$100,000,000 later and still blaming others? I dream of a leader who takes responsibility, along with pay.

It is no surprise on the package of WDC CEO. The hole damaged by previous management is too big and hardly to get the right person to fix it with cheap salary. All the mess things people complained here was the consequences of decisions by previous management.

Dear BODs,
While we have no specific objection to recreational dr-g use we must insist that this not be done prior to important meetings.
Signed,
Shareholders

Yeah, that's gross. A pig feeding at the trough. Ahead of AMD even when failing horribly no less.

I think I see the equation... More DEI and ineptitude equals more compensation.
