When you can't deliver a quality vehicle, you put a ton of time and energy into an old train station, to make people believe Ford is doing great things. Diversion is an ugly thing, and not healthy for a corporation.

Ford left the car market in NA. You have a 410 day supply of Lightnings and a 123 day supply of ICE F-Series. Economy is slowing down.
BF & JF think Ford is still living in the 80s when they built 4-5mn units in NA, Well those days are long gone.
Watch Oakville, LAP, CAP and Flatrock. These four place will likely close inside of six years.

At least Ford is doing something for Detroit. GM never cared (who is the president of the board ??? I bet none of GM's Board members are from Michigan) and Chrysler et al have been no show for Detroit nor even Auburn Hills. At least Fiat did a lot for in Italy (Milan, etc.) and Renault for France (Paris, etc.)
GM and Chrylser made a lot of $$$ with Michigan sweat and blood at least they should do something for the Detroit.
You can hate Billy, Jimmy, Steelcase old fa-t, etc. as well as all Ford Mgmt. you can be bitter and sour but at least feel Happy for Detroit. For Billy's family and Ford as company, it is the least they can do.
Anyone else remember when Ren Center was built and Ford moved in? It wasn't that long ago.....Ren Center in 2025 = Train Station in 2045. People will look back to the train station a few years from now thinking "yeah that's when Ford jumped the shark"....billions wasted on the train station and EVs that is no demand for.
The train Station area makes GAZA look like Beverly hills. What a waste of money. Surprised Wall Street is not going after them for this waste of funds.
Isn’t there a fence around the train station property? Ford took down the security gates a few years ago at the research center and bo-m! Wheels and vehicles started to get stolen.
So the train station is beautiful but it’s in Detroit. This is not Silicon Valley. They won’t attract top talent to Detroit or the Detroit area. Sorry Bill.
