Does anyone recall what time of day they sent notification emails?

As an admin. for MDs, they do not send out meeting invites to people who will be laid-off that far in advance. The only thing that may tip an admin. off is MD's unusual behavior of stress or discomfort and their effort to try and hide knowledge.
If a Director is being laid-off, on the day of layoff, MDs will ask their admin. to look at a Director's calendar to see what their schedule looks like that morning as all this will happen BEFORE NOON.
Do NOT email anything to your personal account. That gets flagged IMMEDIATELY.
Find another way. There are still some loopholes
Mine was a Monday morning with an adhoc meeting prompt from my manager.
Please note while you don't lose access until that afternoon you IMMEDIATELY lose the ability to send any emails externally. So if you have your resume or anything like that only saved on your work computer, be proactive and email it to your personal email now.
I have seen it happen on a Tuesday 6 weeks after after the quarter starts. Aug 8th, 2023 is my guess. +/- a day or two.
From my experience, Monday morning. Received an invite from direct manager (MD) to catch up at 8:00am. (Received 30 minutes beforehand).
I was on a call and it was rescheduled for 9am.
However, they’ve happened over the years on other days.
The quarterly layoffs done over couple years were done on Monday mornings
I think Friday is a common day to notify people.
A few years ago, those who were on the list were notified via a meeting invite from their then VP which would be a lower level MD today. The invite came late in the day for the next morning with most occurring before noon.
