Unused accumulated vacation payment

Did anyone receive the payment already? How was it calculated?

Did you sign the waiver?

If not, and you intend to sue Ford, how has that experience been?

I got mine on Friday. Sweet deal. Direct deposit. I also got my last aug31 pay stub in the mail. I can’t recall if I asked spayroll@ford.com for in’s as I have spent too many hours on the phone with the nitwhits at nesc.

Why even sign the waiver? sue Ford of course... that would compensate your 401k roughly

@1aup You're not wrong. I've seen multiple org charts since the layoffs with either new hires or open positions in Mexico, South America, and India.

Got a deposit yesterday. Assume it was vacation pay.

IDK, when I figured out the end was nigh I used every last minute of my vacation first.

I just came here to see if there was a thread regarding unused vacation. I haven't heard anything, but I do have a pending deposit in my checking account and have no idea what it is for. I am guessing unused vacation. Does Ford snail mail check stubs for checks cut post retirement? If it turns out to be for unused vacation I will post a follow-up. Anyone else have a pending payment in their bank account?

When I contacted NESC, they told me that my people leader would get an email asking how many hours of vacation were taken. They suggested I send an email proactively to remind them of this information and point out any proof. did finally hear back from my people leader and she indicated the correct amount of used vacation.

The employees from People First are Ford Employees who work in Mexico or India for the most part. They probably had a hiring event to find enough people to lay all of us off…I wish I was kidding.

I called today 9/8/2022 and was told that they will contact the former supervisor of each person and find out how much we get. I don't agree but then I didn't agree when Ford took back the $17,000 in my 401K because I was not there 3 years to be vested (I didn't quit, I was laid off!).

When I called, benefits didn't even have notification that I signed the waver forms which I sent in and got an acknowledgement of on August 31st.

This is a cluster F-ck.

Not yet. I expect it next week.

No feedback from payroll or severance payment folks. I have a suggestion to automate NESC and make minimal options so you don’t have to be put on hold when you ask simply questions. And People First? WTF do they do? Must be a ford family owned skim company.
