Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Did you ever feel valued in this company?

I never did. From the time I started a few years ago until today, I have never felt valued. Not even a little. And I worked beyond measure and often my colleagues advised me that maybe I shouldn’t get so involved in this job. All that effort was always in vain. It’s a pretty bad feeling.

Uh, I hate to point this out, but, I don’t think anyone ever grew up dreaming about working at Walmart. Let’s just be real here, if you’re working at Walmart, there’s obviously some reason why you can’t get a better job somewhere else. Otherwise, you’d already be there. Right?

You work a retail job that was under Sam staffed by kids in high school who only stick around for a year or two. If you're seeking to be valued at Walmart as a career, you seriously took a wrong turn in life.
