Unionize the workforce and force the heads of the company to treat the employees better

Injury CS here. 375+ claims right now, 8 of which are new, and not handled as of Friday at 9 pm.
Why? Because I have 375+ freaking claims, that's why. Because we are banned from working TLDs in OT. Because the poor new hire CAs are labeling TLDs as "Lien", or Medical Management...

@3inm+1jaQiUJp Nope
metrics contradict each other, handle time must be low , wrap must be low, they want high amount of TDP (settlements per week ) but you get no task time to work NTL so you sit there all day getting random calls getting yelled at an fixing other peoples messed up claims and hoping and praying one of those calls is a customer wanting to settle so you can get a TDP but of course its outside your control its random. oh and if you get a random call that takes you too long like speaking with a Lienholder and it has long hold times and suddenly you are late for lunch now you are out of adherence and you can bet this will be brought up later.

Handle time ends up being high due to the yelling and angry people then wrap up ends up taking long because you now have to redo other peoples TL packages and get zero credit for it and then on the 1x1 they pull the report and ask why your numbers are low and no amount of explaining is good enough, they tell you all you have to do is taking even more calls and eventually you will get your settlement but you dont because you are not machine there is a limit to how fast you can work while retaining quality , this had gotten out of hand , not hiring for 2 years made it so understaffed ECRs out number TL handlers 5 to 1, then you they take TL CAs and move them to TDP because they are understaffed so now TL is further understaffed so now you got PIP working TL claims and doing a bad job at it, you got Injury CAs working TL claims an doing a bad job at it , its not their fault , they are not TL handlers to begin with but this compounds the problems even more , and then TMs seeing tasks pile up decide to pull a bunch of default calendars reset them (so their numbers look good)then assign task to peoples q directly and have them work them somehow but you get no task time so when do they get done you ask? no one knows i guess they expect it during lunch or something?? and no you cannot work them during non optional overtime because you got a list for that time too, oh and if you are inactive for more than 90 seconds you show inactive so forget about going to the bathroom or you will get pestered by TM to ask you to justify why you where idle.

so no its not hard only if you don't know what you are doing , its hard because they caused this issue due to incompetence, only way you are hitting your metrics is because you are cheating and you are part of the people that make messed up claims that i have to clean up.

I'm in TL and I'm sitting as comfy as ever, don't work hard, actually take the time to ensure accuracy of reports, and outperform most in TL. It's only hard work if you don't know how to do the work.

Total loss is a beat of its own. They just want you to click off on the vir and hope the customer doesn’t notice half their options and packages missing. So you have the choice of taking 5-15 minutes and doing your job right, and getting talked to by MGT, or clicking off on that VIR and getting cursed out by a customer for being blind. That was my exp on total loss for 3 years.

I set a tally mark, I hit 20+ angry callers in one week getting short changed, ultimately I left for way less stress. I know the signs of a toxic company now.

Again, you can thank retired failure Robert Yi under tipsford guidance who started this landslide along time ago…

Is there a department that isn't poorly run? Have you seen the express and complex task and call volumes lately? No one gets scheduled to work anything but phones and depending on the segment everyone is weeks or months behind.

All the claims departments are so poorly run from the point of view of the employee, that it cannot be an accident.

I would agree that TL and Injury would be the two absolute worst places to be in claims. At least you earn a bit more in injury, granted if you live at the hubs youve likely lost 20% of your income or more depending if you rent...so at this point I dont think its even worth it to work in injury and deal with the stress.

Its really all about what you want to stress/hate as you live paycheck to paycheck working for this fortune 50 company.

The injury CS’s with 325-350 claims would like to have a word with you. Daily breakdowns and crying because of stress is the norm here.

At least there is a Total Loss segment. Remember when their insane claims design didn’t include a Total Loss segment and they thought somehow Injury/Property CS would handle all that T/L ish in addition to everything else?
