@3hhu+1q295Qou What is your salary and total compensation? Did you have to move to CA?
Lol, ex-CL 24 with zero RSUs, now in faang, $120k worth of yearly RSUs
LOL here I am with 2300 RSUs I got at hiring at a CL 25 at. Another company after I left EM
CL 30 1000 RSUs and earning bond units for high performers
The long 3 year and 7 year vesting is about accumulating alot of unvested shares. For example a young, highly ranked CL25 (age 26) who gets promoted every several years to CL 28 by age (35), will have over 1500 unvested shares after a couple years as a CL28. This means he must walk away from over 150k unvested RSU if he changes jobs. It imposes a challenge for new employer because new employer must by out the unvested shares. Long vesting is about retention
What about CL 30?
@1amn+1q295Qo is correct.
You have to ask yourself is it worth it to work your a-s off to "maybe" make 10k 3 and 7 years from now.
