It's available online, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrqU8zvcGj0

I found it well-produced and with a fairly neutral stance.

I gotta say though, that video must have been the most I've heard from DW in over a year. I almost forgot he was still around with how rarely he shows his face.

Missed it. Was it just propaganda?

@3fnz+1hhBpnPS there's no way that the employees interviewed were not very carefully selected.

Let's see when the show airs whether Exxon has actually sponsored this show to help its image or not. A company with a mgmt. that doesn't share anything transparently with any one all of a sudden decided to make "unlimited" resources and executives available for this documentary. This sounds so unlike XOM so let's see what the documentary has to say.

The power and influence of the oil/gas industry peaked some time ago. It started to decline in earnest right around the time the Iraq War (OIF) became clearly un-winnable, which probably isn’t a coincidence.

The truth about Exxon and the industry isn’t at all encouraging; the largest companies are sitting on mountains of unserviceable debt, have no actionable growth plans, and are barely being kept going by a dwindling, aging, and complacent workforce.

Exxon and peer companies will go the way of GE, the once untouchable conglomerate that is now the corporate equivalent of an impotent, cuckolded old ge---r. The only difference is that unlike Exxon, at least GE knows what it is.

In this one-hour documentary, CNBC’s David Faber goes inside one of the most powerful, storied, and consequential players in the energy industry: ExxonMobil. Once seen as untouchable, the company is now facing shareholder challenges over its direction and criticism that is fostered public uncertainty about global warming. As gas prices skyrocket around the world, Faber gains unprecedented access to company executives, workers, and facilities to examine ExxonMobil’s efforts to lower its carbon emissions and find out whether the company is ready for the energy transition.
