Do you think most employees at HPE know about this site? How many people here are managers and how many are not?

The coming round of layoffs is one of at least THREE (3) such creatures, FYI... Gotta break 'em down to escape excess media attention, ya know...
Hey, on a totally-to-mostly-unrelated matter, see https://www.thelayoff.com/t/Wk4yXGT = Why do we relentlessly offshore when fewer local resources can do the job? ... IBM not HPE, but it is a good read...
Maybe it will get popular again now that another round of WFRs is imminent.
This site has gone dormant
LOL. It is widely known. Previously a top management spy guy used to hang out here frequently and c-ap all over and leave. Not sure if someone else has taken his place since he left.
Nobody knows about this site
Yeah DELL is a privately held company again.... so they don't have the market pressures that HPE has.
Not many people know, yet this is a #GOLD post, we should make sure people know
How popular is this site at HPE?

What you just said makes a lot of sense...
Take this as a tip from someone that got laid off from HP in 2013... If your experience is in IT per se (programmer, DB, business system analyst, etc.), I wouldn't recommend at all looking for a job in another big tech-related Company like Oracle, Dell, IBM, MS, etc., etc., because sooner or later it will be the same nightmare for you. In the last 2.5 years I've been on an IT job with a health-related Company, and I've been here much more appreciated. Yes, I might be earning a bit less, but I work 8-5; have excellent benefits, and now I have time to play with my kids, and be present on all their activities. In addition, I feel stability, which was something I never felt in my 9 years at HP. My wife and I haven't been happier in years... I hope this helps someone. There IS life after HP, and life is much better outside of the tech Industry.
Exactly, Dell isn't actively trying to destroy his company for a quick payday. Dell+EMC has a much, much brighter future than HPE.
With one major difference... Michael Dell CARES about the future of his Company. I would bet my money long term on Dell vs. HPQ/HPE anytime. I already applied to several position on their site.
Dell is just HP 5-6 years ago. They will go through this same pain very soon.
If you look at Dell's layoff site, they haven't had activity in months. HPE has daily activity. I wonder if this means that Dell is a much better place to work at?
I'm doing my part to let folks know about it! Lol
I mentioned it to one of my former colleagues a few weeks ago when the "merger" was announced. She was unaware of it previously.
I wasn't aware of this site until yesterday. Everyone on my team is talking about it. By looking at all the posts (especially the old ones), I regret not knowing about it much earlier.
