AICP for retires

Has anyone heard what the people who retired in October/November last year are getting for their AICP percentages?

@awzt+1ltImcAk you're correct, taxes are 22% Fed, 4.25% MI (if you live in Michigan), 6.2% FICA, 1.45% Medicare. What's left is 66.1%

@afcq+1ltImcAk my guess is that since this is for the period you were employed, that SSI and Medicare still apply. But I don't know the rules surrounding that for retirees. Sorry.

@arfc+1ltImcAk. Thank you.

Are you sure about SSI and Medicare? Retirees are not considered employed in 2023...

Federal supplements withholding is 22%.
State withholding is 4.25%.

Don't forget SSI and Medicare, 7.65% combined.

  1. 9% total.

Which means you'll get 66.1% of your gross bonus.

Does anyone know how much is the default tax withholding? Fed 28%? and state 4.1%?

If you have DFCU, your AICP will show as pending today (March 13th). I'm a retiree, and I see my Pending amount.

@6xjs+1ltImcAk I heard the same.

For the retires:

  1. $ should be in your account on Wednesday 3/15 (direct deposit)
  2. your bank may post "pending" on Tuesday afternoon 3/14
  3. you will receive a paystub in the U.S. mail with the breakdown of tax withholdings

If you were in Enterprise Tech, it'll likely be 95% of your pro-rated amount. Amend had said no one was to get 96-104%, and that 60% needed to be at 95% or below, and 40% were allowed to be at 105%-120%. Retirees were easy pickings for the 95% crowd as the supervisor doesn't have to look them in the eye every day from the 16th. Also >120% was largely denied without explicit approval from Amend himself

I suppose I will find out next week. I don't expect to hear from my former manager, since he retired as well. If the company decides it is in their interest to beat me out of a few thousand dollars, I will note that in future purchase decisions.

Rumor has it Purchasing group will get 80% because Farley is pushing the blame to them for his shortcomings. Seems like the management loves to have someone to blame. One year Purchasing, next year PD. Never man enough to put the blame where it truly belongs. WITH MANAGEMENT!

It's always a JOKE how this is kept such a secret! The amount posts to your account that morning, before your manager presents you with the piece of paper, so you typically already know what you were awarded by doing the backward math. Pathetic!

@2pcu+1ltImcAk I highly doubt your previous manager will contact you. That should be an HR function. Good luck contacting NESC or PeopleFirst. They NEVER have the same answer twice!

I would think and hope your former supervisor would call you as a courtesy and let you know based on your performance relative to others, for the 11 months worked in 2022, that your AICP is XYZ which is ABC % of target based on performance, and said supervisor would thank you for your contribution to Ford motor company, and also reach out, to see if you are interested in supplemental em0loyment if they still need your unique capabilities.

But it probably won’t happen.

Does anybody know the details of when and how retirees will be paid.

The amount has always been fuzzy math.

No, I have not heard anything. You would expect an announcement in MyFordBenefits secure mail?
