I was offered it as an LG1 in the VRP two years ago.

I noticed the internal job board a few weeks ago had 200-300 globally jobs posted. Last week I checked and only 11 jobs posted globally! Something is definitely up! Sept is when I believe it all breaks out. Thats 3Q. It wont just be PEP. ITS THE ECONOMY-BABY!

They offered anyone at HQ with a pension who was 55 a package 2 years ago. Then they assessed who was left to see if that took care of the overhead or if they needed to do layoffs. I believe they didn’t last year with Frito. Wasn’t available for PBC field which seems unfair, but who is going to challenge them.

The pension program is over in December of 2025. I would imagine a mass departure once pension employees no longer need to stay. So many people are miserable there but are staying to maximize their pension.

PBC sales are horrific. Not making plan. Not a surprise, who drinks soda anymore.? Pepsi fell to #3. Coke, Dr Pepper then Pepsi. That has to be ki-ling them. I’m sure there will be a shift to grab market share now to try to crawl back their share in an unhealthy beverage war.

Pepsi wins by contacts and holding money/payments over customers heads. Is such a sleezy way to run a business. If they had to stand on their own without buying their business their share would be horrific.

If you have a pension and are 55 and over, they offer early retirement, regardless of level.

Early retirement packages are always followed by layoffs and restructuring. It’s definitely coming.

How else would they fund Athina’s software company? The cost of digital transformation is being disproportionately absorbed by the entire organization

They are offering LG1 early retirement. I don’t remember them going that low before, although I am sure it’s been done.
