Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Pointless meetings

I am totally drained after all these meetings where nothing new is said or done. An awful lot of time is wasted every month on meetings without clear set of objectives and goals. Anyone else feel like it's a pointless waste of time and energy?

You're post is complete nonsense. Get a clue, and a kleenex. It'll be ok.

And people that say money doesn’t make the world go round simply have not earned enough in their lifetime to appreciate it. Stop acting like it’s not important. And stop treating a job like it’s more than a job. Just like every publicly traded company out there, they only care about profits…and that’s ok once you realize it. You whiners keep thinking the company owes you something and it’s nothing but a paycheck. The faster you come to terms with that, the better. And your little feelings won’t get hurt.

Comparing W2’s thats all you think about. You sir are the problem. You don’t care about people you care about profits. Making money is important, but its not all about comparing w2s. The difference is i can sleep at night and i can look my creator straight in the eyes and say. “I did what was right…”

W2’s are not the most important thing in the universe. At least not to some of us. Money is a tool…Don’t be a tool.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but these forums aren’t the truth. They are click bait and if things were THAT bad then people would leave. I get what you are saying about your experience and yes some Xerox processes are crackers but it can’t all be bad otherwise they wouldn’t have lasted this long. I’m uk based so maybe we see a different picture

No its because i have a conscious that i am here, unlike you. I have friends that visit this site. I am not here to stir up the pot like you say. I am here to make sure they don't get get boiled alive a few degrees at a time. Like a lobster, working here. I have called the friends directly and they are stubborn and set in their ways. But i know they frequent the site here as they have reservations about how the company is run. Sometimes people will make a move when enough people are in unison about a failing company. My only crime is I care about people.

But none of that matters to you. You want to make your nasty little comments and retreat behind your keyboard.
So be it. But at least you now know why i’m here. And yes its my time to …waste as you say it. Good or bad.

I wouldn’t trust xerox to be competent enough to mail a letter, with the possible exception of a bill. Those always seem to get through to put a customer on credit hold. Amazing process by a group of incompetent dictators. Remarkable.

If you cared about your friends (if they really exist) then why would you come on a forum about Xerox, surely you would contact them direct and stop stirring the pot? Or is it because you need them at your new place of work to help you not look totally d-mb

Total Pinhead. Doesn’t want to understand anything. Anyone who says anything he disagrees with is a mo--n.
Well at least everyone knows what he’s all about. Waiting for the next derogatory insult to drop.

The only loser is you for still working there
you must suck at your job and can't get hired anywhere else

All you mo--ns that still visit this page if you don’t work here seriously have no life. Absolutely pathetic. Please let me call your current manager to let them know how you waste time on here on a daily basis. Probably why you got fired in the first place because the big bad corporate monster called you out. Do you think people are actually going to listen to your negative rhetoric day after day? The two to three constant posters from competitors here are your only audience. Give it up already. Haha

Because some of us still care about the bullheaded friends that refuse to leave this dump. Maybe that makes it a bit clearer for those that don’t or simply refuse to understand. Hardly an abandonment issue. Nice try.

Why would you leave Xerox and keep visiting these pages. Some people have got abandonment issues

Rather enjoy meetings where we determine where to go for lunch and where to meet after work. Helps breakup boring supply demand, strategy discussions.

To the 11 people still working at xerox. Its time to go. Mass exodus. Even the cargo ships come here only once every 20 years bringing new product.
Neanderthal technology with knuckle dragging leadership. Time to leave this mid evilism and the dark ages. This should be your quest.

Been that way for a very long time.
It makes management feel important that they have their little pow wow.
Nothing ever comes of it. But it makes the day go faster. So that's a nice touch. At the end of the day everyone feels better about working at the worst company in the industry.

You should ask to have a meeting on why you have so many meetings without a clear set of objectives and goals.

Once u understand that your entire career and efforts of working at Xerox are pointless, the useless meetings will make more sense.
