Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

It's not layoff, it's now called "involuntary termination"

Yet another PC phrase done in small groups of less than 10 to keep from having to issue a WARN* notice.

I had the "pleasure" of spending some time with a female Gen Z comms associate recently in NYC. What an entitled spoiled brat! Not smart at all, but very sure of herself! If this is the youth the CEO wants, the future of MetLife is truly doomed.

CEO wants all old id--ts to be removed giving way for young generation. With NVDA deal young blood is ideal not all old useless ba----ds.

People are being terminated at Met for being terrible at their jobs? Oh really? What are the stats on that? Seems the people terrible at their jobs are well protected there. And there are many.

It doesn’t anvoid WARN. Layoff is one type of involuntary term. Another is being terrible at your job. And another is breaking our code of conduct. It’s just a broad term.

Ethics bar on the floor with these leaders. How is CEO’s announcement that he wants to hire more young people working out?

Don't give them the credit of calling it “pc" it's a flat out lie. They are just making up terms not based in reality so they can manipulate and save money by sc--wing over people who don't have the resources to challenge it legally. Trash company, led by thugs and buffoons.
