Give two week notice or not? Been treated very poorly and after almost 10 years had enough. Got a job offer elsewhere.

I gave a “two week notice” then didn’t show up lol I was a salaried manager to in a max risk store. I learned a lot in my time there and honestly the stress you felt will make you stronger in your best role. I jumped ship to the company shitmart is chasing and I’ve been very successful
Update. Gave two week notice but 3 days in I thought to myself what am I doing here? Walmart is a terrible company that doesn’t value its employees. Nail in the coffin was this terrible roll out of team scheduling forcing people to work outside their availability on top of being mistreated and not valued was enough for me. Hopefully everyone else who is unhappy will find another employer who values and appreciates you and you too can walk away from a toxic workplace.
Do they give out 2 week notice before firing an employee?
@2uiy+1aVEF4ah FU-K OFF
Walmart doesn’t value good employees and I had enough. Worked out for me found a job making 6 more an hour.🖕🏻
Would they give you a 2 week notice if they were leaving you?
Not a chance!
No one needs your notice, 10 years and your a cry baby... my guess is your subpar at best.
Don't worry about a reference. The only thing they can legally say is if they would hire you or not.
Give a notice so you can use them as a reference, but RUN!
Always give the professional two week notice, if not for the curtesy to your current employer, do it for yourself. There’s no guarantee your new job will work out and you will have the option to go back to Walmart. Or, if your new job doesn’t work out and you apply somewhere else than Walmart, you may find yourself interviewing with one of your former Walmart managers. Never burn bridges.
Not unless you plan on returning... run and don’t look back.
I would run! They don’t offer enough to put up with their BS. I would find a company that provides profit sharing or retirement.
