Overall, how many or what percent of employees were impacted by the latest round of layoffs? I have not seen anything in the warn act tracker or in the news.

Thank you GK, WWGD?

The people who ask about the severance are probably the people riding the fence, wondering if it’s worth another day of their sanity and holding out for a “big” payout or spend their time and energy looking for another job. If you are thinking that way it’s probably already (way past the) time to move on. Many (most) of you have employment agreements in place as well as local/state/federal laws which set out the minimum compensation - anything above that is purely at the discretion of your employer.

"X" has been a complete disaster that was completely foreseen by everyone with any actual tenure at the company and experience with developing in ONTAP, and now the execs responsible for the whole boondoggle are throwing the engineers under the bus.

NB happening now. Not sure about the size. Ontap in San Jose took a hit. Some were good contributors

not sure tenure is a factor, as few people with 1+ years let go from my team today.
looks like stack ranking may be the factor.

A fair number of people across product management and engineering (within HCPE). The majority seem to be people with good tenure.

I guess the company can reclaim all the unvested RSUs and make even more money!

I know of half a dozen (including myself) ONTAP Engineering directors and senior managers (or equivalent level individual contributors). Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Program Managers.
