It is a long road to change. Farley said that Ford was far behind our competitors regarding DEI.

"Who are you going to believe, some negative Model e hate here, or the facts straight from the leaders who know the whole story?"

Numbers? Just show demand numbers, profit. Tired of hearing its a startup. Produce some results. Its pretty simple. The rest of the company is getting sick of covering up mistakes and losses while running the rest of the business. Play time needs to be over of money needs to be made because at the end of the day its a business and Model e is looking like a failed one.

My friend if you don't have well north of 20 years in there's no chance you will retire from this place.

Honestly, I enjoy the heck out of working in Model e. I loved working at TFAC and I am am happy to go to the Train Station.

It does seem unfair, but Model e is treated like the 'good' place to be while Blue is treated as the 'bad' place to be.

When the split first happened, I genuinely thought that everyone in Blue would eventually shift to EV products as the volumes shifted from ICE to EV.

Even before that happened thought, I saw people in Blue getting laid off to a much higher degree than Model e.

Even when the EV volume didn't justify those decisions, it happened anyway.

So, honestly, yes. I am glad to be a part of Model e. I intend to retire from Ford.

@1dky+1vMQaB9m You mean managers. Because they do not demonstrate real leadership traits. Especially that political animal JF.
Never takes responsibility for his actions. blames others.

If that's what you believe, I invite you to attend the next Global Town Hall to hear the successes with Ford and Model e directly from leadership themselves. They speak the truth to the current environment and status to target. Who are you going to believe, some negative Model e hate here, or the facts straight from the leaders who know the whole story?

"Your down vote collection is tedious. Everyone knows Model E under DF is a failure."

He's here for this. He does it on purpose. So does anyone else that sh-t posts like that about Model e being anything but a miserable failure. You just can't assume anyone with half a brain would be serious about it. The math never "maths" and it's for comedic value. It's good...gives us someone to make fun of once they pop up.

Since OP is asking, working at Ford Model e is the most satisfying high tech position I've ever had. Evidence: -Working under the smartest leadership in the business

  • Developing the future technology stacks that will set the standard in the modern mobility space
  • Top facilities to work in with the most inclusive environment available

That's just for starters.

OP @fhc+1vMQaB9M is wrong that Ford hires the most. Like most things today, do your research. Doing a little research for 2024 you can see the companies that hire the most H1Bs and yes Ford is on the list but they don't hire the most. Very disappointing to see so many good jobs given to H1Bs across all companies; we should be able to educate and train US citizens for many of these jobs. OK with some H1Bs but how many?

The comment that DEI has been at Ford for 4 years. Nope! It’s been 25 years. Jack Nassar started it. Biggest fool ever for CEO, wait that would be Farley now.

I go to the office. I see most people looking like they are busy, but they are not effecting any change. I see the LL2s have meetings with HR about layoffs. If I go on Monday or Friday, I could drive a car through the office and no one would be there to notice.

Ford hires more H1B visa holders than anyone! These poor people need jobs and Ford is there to provide them with opportunities!
