The field managers are at it again in CL. Moral keeps falling. It is so upsetting, CL was once an amazing place to work. Now everyone is sending out resumes, only some are doing what they have to, others are not putting any work in at all in the plant and just hide all day long.

My morale comes from a steady pay check. Beyond that this place can go to he-l.
Gone or the glory days. Anybody remember Great Big Sea xmas party, it was awesome. Was a relatively inexpensive way of making it the best O&G company in town to work at.
Then came RE, who when challenged by some vocal shareholder started the whole slide into the sewer. We will never see those times or the high moral again.
All panel operators have been asked to reapply for there jobs, and questioned if they would relocate. If not the CL field ops will choose…
I find management/communications and HR comments so ridiculous and entertaining. They are beyond delusional and out of touch. The research proves that companies with low staff morale low are not successful long term. And yet they honestly don’t care. All this cr-p about there are others waiting for your job. Oil is up and CVE stock is going down. The market Analysts knows the lousy managers CVE has - google C Poole to get a laugh. This company is so desperate and sad. GET OUT people. Things are looking up. Hydrogen. LNG. CVE is living in the past.

Lol. “All we are is workers”. What the he-l do you think you are? That is all you are. You are compensated well. If you don’t like it. Bug off. You aren’t going to find a higher paying job. Lots of fulfilling or “fun work” for sure is out there. But if you want oil company money, live with the consequences.

now we are in a place where you are judged by who you sit with at dinner, if you hate the right people, and by how quick you nod your head when the "leadership" spills their verbal diarhea
Totally agree, you used to hold your head high and be proud of where you worked and genuinely happy to come to work here for your week. The food was awesome and the camp staff were friendly. Now because of DZ leadership and down this place has sucked the life out of everything. It did not have to happen if the right people were still in place
