HBO documentary on the Devil himself - Mr. Icahn

This 86 year old crook, is trying to rewrite his history, to be "cool" and a "corporate raider" - make no mistake, he is a bad man, what value has be brought with his goonie management to Xerox customers, employees, and legit shareholders? Don't fall for this PR revisionist dribble on HBO https://youtu.be/dVMo49zKwUI this guy is out for himself - bad man!

It was really good HBO fiction - made the old boy look like an real hero of American industry - but, this was a paid promotion, if you have that many billions (and your daughter is your PR / savvy media person) they spin so you look good. I will say it was interesting TV and he is smart old ba----d. I wonder who at XRX gave insider info to the old man to come after us - had to be U.B., or some other NYC want-to-be that is in his circle and invested monies made at XRX with the devils hedge fund. It would be typical for U.B. to do us dirty, taking Uber (that she is on Board) to put more money in her bank account. Why does my gut say she gave him inside info to do XRX wrong?

I did pu-e in my mouth when he compares himself to Alexander the Great. Why are most of the companies he 'invest in' now gone? He is bad for employees, and worse for customers, which is an equation that does not work for long term success.

UB wasn’t evil, just social justice experiment that went horribly wrong. This is what happens when you don’t hire ppl based on qualifications. One of the lowest rated CEO’s of all time. Nice work XRX!!

Focus your ire on the preceding 20-25 yrs of corp. governance. Their crookedness, greed and incompetence set things up for the likes of Carl. No fan of the latter but regretfully the corp gets what it deserves.

Vultures and jackals are n’t very pretty but you can’t hate them for being what they are. They also provide a service to the ecosystem by preventing disease and picking off the weak. Xerox was n’t exactly healthy when he showed up on the scene. Don’t hate the player…

I watched it last night and it and it is just another rich elderly egomaniac who wants to look more honest in a documentary than he ever was in real life. Phooey, he only creates shareholder value - for himself - by saddling companies with massive amounts of debt (where is the FX payment- in Carl’s pocket by way of dividends that lower his cost basis of XRX-soon he will have got us for free), make no mistake he's no genius - remember he thought Apple should go into television sets – hey, Mr. Tech Company how are DocuShare, 3D printing, and bridge inspections working out? The really bad new is he is now OUR rich elderly egomaniac – and we have to do what he says, as he destroys the company.
