KPP bonus payout----HCL

For those of you asking prior, if you got in your offer letter last year the addendum about the KPP bonus, it was paid out in yesterdays payroll, I was pleasantly surprised!! Say what you want about them but damn they came through with stay bonuses and now KPP

HCL did EVERYTHING they promised the rebadged employees as far as I am concerned. I am just grateful they let me go after my year with them. Too bad for those folks they keep hanging on. They are being worked to death and their hours are cut. Wonder how that will affect their severance based on their "new" weekly salary? I received my KPP bonus last month so thanks again to HCL. So glad to be out of the fray and away from condescending Xerox manager(s). There is life after Xerox and HCL.

The reduction in hours from 40 to 28 was not HCL's decision, it was a direct order from Xerox, you know that HCL charges back the cores for your salary right? Xerox just s—s, the work is not getting done, everything is a disaster

Forgot to mention that the 30% pay cut is supposedly because of COVID-19. I think it’s a scam to make additional money off the backs of hard working people. It’s a disgrace.

@3guh What I was told by someone lucky enough to be caught up in this mess was they cut the hours by 30%. No OT, no exceeding the 5.5 hours per day. Many are looking for other jobs but it’s hard right now. Customers are getting bad support just as they are trying to start back up and the dummies at HCL decide to do this bonehead move. Interesting thing is HCL India made some big announcement that they weren’t cutting hours or laying off. It’s bad. Employees don’t matter to either company I guess.

@2qjl, how did they cut your pay??? when we moved to HCL they kept the salary we were already making, why did you stay if they cut yours 30%, I would have left

KPP is key parameter performance, in my offer letter last April it said I would be eligible for the bonus this year, we asked and never heard and then it was paid out, I was kind of shocked since X is losing so much $ but HCL had major growth his year, I work at an XBS core

So what jobs are people doing that got this bonus? What’s a KPP?
I was shifted to HCL in April of last year. All I’ve gotten is a 30% pay cut for the privilege of supporting Xerox.

I was released from HCL months ago but kept in touch with their HR and received kpp bonus just as they assured I would. Already started a great new job and was pleasantly surprised to receive a direct deposit from HCL. Feel pretty blessed at how my situation played out but feel bad for coworkers who are still being d–g along.

Hey the way I look at it, like the OP I have a job in a sh–ty economy I have health benefits, they match my 401k, they gave me $400 to my HSA, I got 2 stay bonuses and now the KPP bonus, sorry but I'm with the OP on this one, I'll ride this wave until it crashes, Xerox sold me out 15 months ago, what do I have to lose?

HCL is head and shoulders above Xerox in so many ways. Not only the KPP retention bonus but also the 4% 401K matching paid at EACH payroll period (not a lump sum at year end, IF you happen to still be around). I really like the guaranteed employment clause and 60 day IRIF advance notification, written into the offer addendum. These are foreign concepts at Xerox. Little things like increased monthly Internet expense reimbursement and an abundance of Medical coverage options reveal just much they really care about their employees. What a breath of fresh air from the stifling sizzle at Mother X.
