The 4 to 1 split is odd. If for every 4 shares of 3M, you get 1 share of Solventum, does that mean they expect Solventum to list at the same price as 3M on the market?
With 4:1, it makes it even less attractive to hold 3M shares. Was hoping for 1:1, and SOLV listing at $20 per share. But that's wishful thinking.

Combine 3M and Sovlventum ~ $100 post spin. We need to trust the process.
Split is 4 shares 3M will get you 1 share Solventum. Valuation will be 80-20. If 3M is 100 on split day, it’ll become 80 and Solventum will be 20.

I would say I hope I am wrong but working for 3M for as long as I have I am not sure hope even exists.
