Stand tall and do the best you can. Stay positive, learn new things. If you get let go, your positive attitude and experience will help you get another job faster.
Quiet quitting makes a person lazy and a whiner. The laziness will seep into the rest of your life and have an effect on the people you love.

My job is not stressful at all and as long as I can WFH (and 30 days anywhere I want), I don't mind working until I'm 65. If they toss me after that, who cares.

You're pathetic. "Quiet quitting" is for losers. Just because people around you are getting laid off, doesn't give you the right to fleece the company. If Ford is paying you good money to work, then it is incumbent on you to do the best job that you possibly can for them. If you don't like working there, then sack up and quit.
There was an IT manager dave beck who abused the system to no end. He screwed over ford for his own personal gains for years. He had one of his direct reports make him wood cabinets at his home shop while ford paid him.
Sounds like the “young pup” was mounted doggie style one too many times.

@OP, for gods sake, dont you have any personal pride? Stop being a loser and quit already. I received a sage piece of advice when I was a young pup. "You came in with dignity and you should leave with dignity". Just because our leaders are turds doesnt mean you have to be.

Take you son on a road trip in a Ford Lightning. It’s worked before.
I recommend signing out a m-plate test vehicle and just use it for your leisure all day every day. Run errands. Run your side hustle. Haul stuff or people that you may need. Make sure you do it on company time, since it is 100% allowed and if you do it on the regular you will be on the protected list from layoffs.
Yes this is 100% true. I've seen it from a co-worker for at least 15 years now, and this person survives every cut. HR and management are either totally useless and/or encourages this behavior.

Just work till you find something else. Put in 75% effort vs 100% and don't sc--w over your coworkers. Everyone is unhappy, don't be a jerk.

Why wouldn't you start looking to find a place where you can have a career I am wondering, is quiet quitting an easy copout?
Seems to me that anyone who has made a career has had to work a little harder than the pack to move up in any company. Trying to figure out which technical specialist, senior engineer or rising star did the minimal and succeeded.
Assuming you have a degree, why wouldn't you want to find a place where you can apply what you mastered?
Put on your big boy pants, stand tall, and just leave like a full grown adult.
The key is to look busy while getting nothing done or accomplished- just like our senior leadership.
