What kind of pay would one receive at the GM / VP level?
Are we talking $1mm for a GM? $2mm for VP? Most of these people seem to be living like b-ms if you ask me…

@Hwkg+ - cross roads my Bhah, either a +10 PSG bump to GM, or a redundancy, either is my pathway to a life of lube
Is it because many of you expect to be let go that you are having this discussion here on the layoff's board?
Lawyers START at PSG 26?? Like >$300k plus fresh out of law school?? Most technical with advanced degrees have to work decades just to get a chance at PSG 26 and most top out at 24 or 25.
Most of the lawyers are 26-28 their entire career. To get higher you need to be legal manager, which each SBU has, for example. The SBU legal managers report to a higher level legal GM who reports to the law VP. Pretty flat structure.
Speaking of Law curve…what is the law curve structure if it starts at 26? Worker bees v mgmt roles?
@2jsv Is largely right except for the 24/25 range. CO for 24 is right under 215 this year, so right about 250 with a 1.0 CIP. 25 is closer to 300.
Yes, there are some weird title games including GMs who are called VPs. Proper VPs would lead a BU, just like an MD.
I would have to assume that currently, there are VPs that are lower on the payscale
The major pay groups are as follows
15-25 the worker bees and team leads of the lower echelons. Limited stock options. Under $200k
26-30 dysfunctional middle management with stock options. Mgrs, GMs, CMs $0.2-1.2 million.
41-46 upper management. MDs, VPs, OpCo heads $2-3 million.
EVPs $5-10 million in compensation.
CEO $20-30 million
The uncertain part is those reporting to the CEO but not EVP as those can span a wide range from his admin to the heads of Law, HR, etc. Speaking of Law, they have their own pay scale typically starting at 26.
Make VP’s great again. I am going to be a VP one day, so I am all in on paying them more!
I think they need to get big pay and we need to be supporting DJT a lot more now than ever. We need him back to save us as no other person can!
The higher you rise in the company (as a manager, that is), bonuses and perks become the majority of your compensation. MW made nearly $30 million last year, with "only" 6.5 million as salary.
Psg30 is around $450k plus 60% bonus plus 145% stock target. Could $1.3 million if stock targets are met.
My guess for a GM (grade 28)
400K base + 200-300 K bonus + 2500 stock in a year
Yeah so close to $1MM in a good year, maybe 800K in a poor year.
