Hot desking when company outgrows available office space is acceptable.
Closing so many owned offices that there are not enough desks left for all employees is just promoting attrition.
The person that made this Hotdesking decision has a private office and reserved parking space, not going to share the pain in any way.
Extremely insulting to the workforce.

If headcount reduction is the goal, quit hiring so many new hires.
We are being forced to accept more new hires than we have work for.
Manage your expectations. This is not the same place it was 5 years ago. Expect more changes. This is a good time to reassess your values.

Did anyone else see the email from the “planner” which included a chart showing only 18% of people felt this was a beneficial idea.
