Welp, so this store is closed now. Sears is officially out of the NYC/NJ, metro area. There is a Kmart in Bridgehampton NY, but that's 100 miles east of NYC, out on Long Island, so that would not count as the NYC area.

The man’s name was Sears, not Sear.

Looks like they're putting a David Busters, or whatever it's called, there.

@2gcg SB360 is not always first with Sears closing announcements.

Braking? Sear's? Thay're? I hope you're being ironic, because nobody who even just passed, the 10th grade, would write such gibberish.

"that the Sear's in that thay're Jersey City is closing"

Put the Bottle down, son. 😁😆😅🤣😂

Wow, I step away from a few Months, and this happens LOL!
Anyway, I contacted several media outlets, to generate links (because every closing announcement should include them). Here are a few new links:

https://bnnbreaking.com/world/us/final-sears-store-in-new-jersey-announces-closure-an-end-of-an-era/

Never fear, Jack is here. Links are up. You're welcome! 🙂😋😉

So what obviously happened is that they originally over-estimated how many stores they needed to close in order to right-size their store footprint, so they re-opened two.. only to realize that nope, we only needed the one extra.
