@2fhq+1p7ukcws There Towers folk go again. CC wants to be a provider of infrastructure for all types of networks not just leasing tower space. Why can’t you just accept that? That being said, they are getting rid of towers folk that they know can’t make that transition because they’re inept.

@2pps+1p7ukcws What the fiber peeps don’t understand is that Crown doesn’t need to own the fiber. Fiber is so capital intensive that if you don’t get a second carrier in the SC, you can’t get your investment back. The smarter move would have been to outsource the fiber to the ILEC so they take the capital and depreciation hit while crown still collects rent from the mobile carriers in the SC pole. But I wouldn’t expect the fiber guys to know that. After all, most of them were former Burger King employees who were rejected by the ILECs.
The simple fact that the Towers folk don’t comprehend that fiber is what connects everything is the reason why they got axed. Small minded Towers people…small cell minded.

The Towers folk can’t see the forest for the trees. Why do you think Crown is refocusing. It’s just not about Towers anymore. The rapid system has been improved on because it’s key for the direction CC is heading. Towers folk just want to continue being an over glorified Wireless Access Point.
They also stated they were going to reopen questions on 10/14-10/16 for this company conversation and it did not happen.
