In other news...ge (Vernova) did shut down an overseas plant to bring more generator work to Schenectady. Think positive! Many thanks should be given to the current administration in Washington at the executive level to get this done...reinvest in america manufacturing, build things in america, Support for unions... all Biden led economic proposals. The Biden led infrastructure bill passed in Washington, along with the Biden led inflation reduction act (wind work FOR SCHENECTADY), The chips bill etc etc. One way or another Schenectady's story of insourcing more work along with renewables (wind) should be positive news for everyone working there. Facts are facts. Speculation and scary rumors of mergers, acquisitions, private investment firms buying Vernova and layoffs are bs and baseless at this point. Schenectady is a good story for everyone working there right now let's keep thinking that way.
