"The last three comments really show the lack of character, intellect, maturity, and attitude of the Belk stores. Take a good look at yourselves and ask why this company is failing."

Save that condescending, passive/aggressive bull for your in-store visits (should you be brave enough to enter one) or a conference call, you insufferably ignorant troglodyte!

@2sfv. Right back at you! Talk about lack of character and maturity! Why don't we add on on judgemental and an insufferable know it all. Once again you know nothing about any of us that are posting on this website. You really highlight why belk is in so much trouble. LIes and denial from the top down. Oh sorry it bothers you so much that we don't believe your cr-p.

You know nothing about anybody or how they do their jobs. Fortunately your rude assumptions don't bother those of us that work hard.

Researching the company does not tell you what really is going on in each store. Duh. And it's not pitching in. It's a freaking joke.

It is a shame that such miserable people need to spew on this site but not surprising that they work at belk. Wait. Don't tell you are in management.

It’s called pitching in. AKA helping.
The problem is you’re lazy and do the bare minimum if that.
You’re not saving lives. Just selling T-shirts and blenders.
Ever think to research the company you potentially may want to work for?

People might know what they are getting paid when thay are hired but they don't know they are expected to do the job of three people.

If you paid the workers enough, and gave them good working conditions and reasonable schedules they wouldn’t quit, call out, and be no shows. So whose fault is that? Certainly not the hourly workers.

Schedules are updated because the lane employees are either quitting, calling out, no shows, etc.
Thank your coworkers for that.
