Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Automotive Engineering = no . . . Cultural Engineering = yes

There appears to be a common theme,
in many a layoff.com thread,
it's a nightmare, not a dream,
a theme that snowflakes dread,
"D E I" we hear them scream,

  • . . soon FoMoCo will be dead.

I think we can all agree, both genders and all races have been on earth about the same amount of time, can't get more equal opportunity than that.

LOL @2dxw keeping the bigotry alive and elevating inept to positions of authority so they will inevitably fail/destroy the company. Props to you.

It sounds like you all work for leaders that are not implementing these DEI initiatives effectively.

I am an LL4 with a fairly large team of employees beneath my umbrella. I have been implementing DEI techniques for years now and have had nothing but positive reviews from executive leadership.

I always pair Black men and White women together for projects. I find that these two groups work extremely well together and are both very open to trying new things when facing challenges.

I group all of the othe people of color and s--ualities together. They bring such different perspectives and arrive at unique solutions that would never have been reached by white male teams.

I give these minority groups work that is never too difficult. And I always ensure that they present in front of senior leadership to ensure that they have the right connections should they want to climb the corporate ladder later in their careers.

I always group the white males with each other. I give this group the real challenging projects. Nothing flashy or attention getting, but the king of work that really keeps this company running. I always personally communicate their results to senior leadership and cascade the feedback accordingly.

I have received the greatest feedback during my reviews with my leaders. And the teams all seem to be enjoying their experiences. I hope that you all have the opportunity to work in teams like this.

@1heg+1msDJaGl What a coincidence! My wife and I were talking this morning about "The soft bigotry of low expectations". Our example was the test scores to enter Harvard. Nothing more racist than telling black people don't have the ability to score higher, and that's why they should have a lower score to get into the university. So all those woke elitist MFs at Harvard are saying, niggas you'll are d-mb bi--hes.

@1heg I can see your point. In the 1960s in school we were funneled by the educators into tracks. There was the vo-tech track where many boys were funneled to and educated in trades, there was the college track where maybe 20% of the boys were funneled. Then there were the girls. I remember my sister crying after career day when she was told her choices were Homemaker, Nurse, Teacher, Secretary or Nun. She wanted to be a Chemist. Instead she became a science teacher.
Thinking back most of the girls pretty much stopped trying after the career day conversation. Low expectations and all. And all us boys just accepted that was the way things were, we were the kings, life was grand.

There has been an over-correction in education now. The result has been d-mbing down of education.

Whenever Ford hires a DEI person I always wonder if it was for their skills or to check a box.

No @yvn, I am not a child, but perhaps only attempting to appeal to the childish minds of the DEI kind. It's like a fish believing they are a cat - completely delusional, but fools can be made to believe anything. Are you familiar with the concept of "The soft bigotry of low expectations" ? That's how your 'mark-cyst' masters have been using you . . . keeping you ignorant. DEI, just like the climate hoax fear-mongering is all about controlling childish minds. "A person who can be made to believe absurdities can be made to commit atrocities." Yup . . that's the plan.

@yvn You and your DEI friends should take a timeout and reflect on this whole nonsense. I personally would be embarrassed to get a job or a promotion because of my ethnicity or gender identity.... but you go ahead and do you.
